I am a kayaker by heart...

I am a kayaker by heart but wanted a water sport I could just throw in the car and head out on the water for just an hour or so. Very happy in choosing the Myra. It's very stable on the water and lightweight to carry. Definitely a beginner SUP and I can see me upgrading as I do more SUP'ing but it's a good first choice for me to start with. Love the backpack carrybag to easily transport it down to the shore. Takes a bit of effort to inflate especially the last few psi but the warm up is a nice little exercise before heading out on the water. Pros lightweight, stable, easy to carry, compact and durable Cons A bit of effort to pump but nothing to wine over Usage Flat water

The NRS Mayra has rocked...

The NRS Mayra has rocked my world! I've been duking it out with low back problems for years and then found SUP - first day out on the Mayra I was peacefully enjoying yoga on the lake, next week cruising down the Bow River, and 33 days on the water later am feeling strong and confident. This board is perfect for a beginner but has also become the envy of my more advanced paddling friends who find it more stable and responsive than their own boards. My 4 year old loves it too as he stands on the front and we paddle for picnics. Light, durable, easy to use and fun in a variety of water situations, the Mayra is a solid investment:) Pros light and easy to manouever, stable, perfect for yoga Cons nothing so far Usage exercise, lake and river touring
