Summary: We purchased this board from surf tech for my son and thought we were getting a quality product made in the USA but the board delaminated after one year and has become very itchy to pick up. The board is like handling Fiberglass insulation. Customer service said the board can't be in too much sun, crazy, crazy! Stay away from all boards made by this company. Surf tech Pros None Cons Can't be in the sun Usage Casual

After doing lots of research I have ordered this board @ awesome sale price. (I have a neighbor who has a little lighter higher priced other brand 10 6 It is a beautiful looking board twice the cost of mine but has many dings and indented surfaces. This one is a commercial rental quality board that should hold up well. The inner core will not allow water to leak in and I have had that issue with a couple of my sailboards rendering them worthless. Pros Durable value and a good all around Cons Just a little heavy Usage Touring on flat water and using in very small surf.

This board is great! Big enough to give a really stable ride, even if I bring one of my 50 pounds dogs out with me, but small enough that I can still load it on my roof rack by myself. Easy to maneuver. I take it in rivers, lakes and the ocean. Pros stable, nice rails. I love the full deck pad! Cons n/a Usage exercise, touring, SUP yoga

I'm a longtime paddler but fairly new at SUP. I wanted a board that would be easy for me to carry and put on the car by myself, and as a 5'1" woman, loading and unloading are often the hardest parts of paddling for me. This board is a little heavier than I was looking for-at 32 pounds it is a little bulky for me, but I'm still able to easily move it around and get it on the car. I paddle a variety of conditions and bodies of water, and I've been impressed with it's responsiveness. The extra long deck pad is great for doing yoga, and I'm expecting to enjoy this board for a long time. Pros responsive, easy to paddle and edge, comfortable footing and good for wide range of activities Cons a bit heavy compared to other models at that size, wish it had some inset places for deck rigging. I'll have to add a stick on deck kit. Usage surf, touring, yoga

The SurfTech Board was a great choice for a beginner to learn and appreciate the sport of paddle boarding. It was a quality made board, light weight and easy to move around. Pros The board was stable and wide enough to support a beginner's wobbly legs. I liked the rigidity and feel of balance that it provided. Cons Nothing Usage I used it on Pohick Bay for touring.

With the full rail and flatter bottom, the Surftech Universal Stand Up Paddleboard is the most stable board for it's size on the water in my opinion. You will love this board whether your paddling an outlet or dropping in on some low to moderate surf. Bang for the buck you cant beat this board. Attractive designs and durable construction are just a few of the pros you will find with this board. Gliding across the water will seam effortless on this 10'6" board. Pros durable construction, attractive design, affordable price, ease in use, stable for beginner fun ride for seasoned ridder. Cons n/a Usage outlet, lake, ocean exercise and play.

I have rented this board numerous times and have had a blast on it every time. I found it very stable and easy to paddle. Pros It was easy to stand up, stay up and paddle. Very stable! Cons I only paddle on it a couple hours at a time. It is my con not theirs, but I wanted more time on it. Usage I have used it for exercise and touring the sea lion areas in the ocean.
