Worth spending a little extra for a good paddle. Comfortable, sturdy, and lightweight. It feels great in your hands, no blisters or cramping. Great paddle for the beginner to the intermediate kayaker

Although an older design the San Juan is the paddle of choice for touring sit-on-tops here in Hawaii. Great "bite" for the launch in surf and good control. Also good for low angle on wide Scupper Pros & other sit on tops. Werner strength and top quality. Very efficient paddle. Favorite here on Oahu.
