This board is a sectional…

This board is a sectional board that comes in three pieces. I live in a condo and have no garage and a very small car. A regular SUP just wouldn't work for me, but this board easily fits in the trunk and stores easily in my condo. I also don't have to carry one big heavy board, but 3 smaller pieces, so portage is a breeze! It's great for women or people who have trouble lifting heavy objects onto a car roof rack because each piece only weighs about 15 lbs. and it fits in the trunk rather than on a roof rack. It tracks well, is easy to paddle and feels very stable. The raised edges seem to keep it more stable in chop and keep me feeling more confident in my ability to stay on the board! The surface is very comforatable for longer paddles. I love the water-tight hatch that lets me store my small stuff securely. Steerage is great on this, probably because of the more pointed front end. Pros I like that it's modular, easy to transport and store, very stable on all kinds of water and comfortable under my feet. The overall design is well thought through. The contouring of the front end makes it easier to steer and turn and the fact that it's a displacement hull makes it stable in the water and easy to paddle. Cons It's hard to find something I don't like about this board. Sometimes, if I want to sit and take a break or have a snack, it's a bit uncomfortable hanging my legs over the side due to the raised edge, but that's a small work-around! Usage I use my board for exercise and touring. I live in Florida and there are many opportunities to use it and all types of conditions. I use it in the Gulf of Mexico on calm days or to explore spoil islands close in. It's fun on lakes and even rivers, especially if you do a shuttle run and cruise downstream only! It's a great workout, so some days I just drop it in and go hard! The versatility of this board makes it perfect for all of these uses.
