I purchased the Pacific Star Kayaks Ocean Traveler model used a few years ago. I have paddled this exclusively on lakes and rivers, and have been impressed with the stability, tracking, and glide. My only comparison to other tandems is to plastic kayaks (I have owned several - Hobie, Necky, WS, Old Town), none of which can hold a candle to this kayak in any type of performance. This one leaves them all feeling like recreational toys.
The large watertight storage can really pack in gear for extended trips, and the large rear opening allows bulky items to fit easily. While the weight and length makes this kayak a beast to car-top, any trip that this kayak accompanies is worth the hassle.
