Perfect case for phone, money, ID, credit cards while spending a day on the river, lake, or beach. The snaps feel solid, and snap tightly shut. So far I have had no leaks with this case. It fits my smartphone perfectly on one side, leaving the other free for money, cards, and any other small, thin objects you would want with you for the day.

The Otterbox drybox 2000 does what it says it will do. It appears to be dry and is extremely durable. I have used it for my iPhone - it fits an iPhone 5 with an Otterbox Armor series - it also fits the iPhone 5 with the Defender series case). I would prefer one latch instead of two like the 1000 series case, but I understand the necessity here. My 11 yr-old daughter also had some difficulty opening the case, but I'm guessing the latches will become a little easier to open with time.
