I bought this No Limits 10.4…

Submitted by: paddler897407 on 11/16/2020
I bought this No Limits 10.4 from a local guy that had picked it up, then hurt his back. He'd only floated it twice but said it worked great, so... I thought I'd give it a try. I've owned it for about 3 years now and have LOVED it! It's very stable, and has gotten me through several lakes and ponds, and even has been down some light rapids on the Buffalo River. I love the pole holders and the dry storage areas. I added an anchor trolly to it as well so I can fish rivers. In general, this is a great kayak for any beginner or intermediate kayak fisherman. Would easily purchase again; only reason I sold was because I was relocating and didn't want to store it.

After not being able to find…

Submitted by: DeputyDialysis on 7/8/2016

After not being able to find hardly any reviews anywhere for this kayak, I figured I would post one. I'm a novice kayaker, so I apologize if I leave out any points a more experienced kayaker would note.

I initially purchased an Old Town Vapor 10 Angler sit-in from Academy. It was a solid yak, but not suitable for me... cockpit was too large for me, and I was unable to reach the deck/dash/cupholder (I'm 5'9 155 lbs). After almost taking a few topples in the water due to trying to reach my gear strapped down on the front, I decided to return it. That's when I noticed the No Limits Adventure 10.4 Angler.

I searched online, and the only reviews I found for it was on Academy's webpage, which was I pretty high rating. However, I was unable to find any reviews from the paddling community on any online forums. A search on YouTube provided just as few results.

Anywho... after taking this yak out on the water for approximately 4 hours, I have to say I'm more than pleased with it. I had slight reservations about getting since it was notably cheaper than most popular yaks, and about $75 cheaper than the Vapor 10 that I was returning. I've always agreed with "you get what you pay for".

This yak tracks quite nicely. Everything is well within reach for somebody my size. It's comfortable, and even after about 4 hours I had no issues, complaints, or discomfort from the seat. It's relatively quick (quicker than the Vapor 10, but that's all I've had to compare it to), and it cuts thru the water nice and smooth. Cornering and turning was easy as well. Before getting off the lake, I stood in it just to see if I could, and was successful in standing up and sitting down in it twice without ripping. It dig rock a bit, and granted, I didn't attempt to cast while standing, but I was able to stand up for a few minutes without ever feeling like I was about to fall over.

The only complaint I have so far is the front storage compartment is TINY. I have a 4 litre waterproof bag, and when filled with gear (even with as small as the bag is) it won't fit in the compartment. The rear compartment is large tho, and so is the hull space under the deck,s o the tiny front compartment is an issue I can overlook.

As a beginner myself, I highly recommend this kayak for anybody else who is starting out, or anybody who's experienced and just wants a cheap yak to paddle around in. I found mine at Academy for $349.
