We bought our Prospector after renting it for 10 days and liking it very much. We have had no problems whatsoever and love it for tripping with a dog and lots of junk along. It moves along very well with a load which is what we wanted it for - but is impossible for one person to paddle alone - don't try it.

Bought my canoe two summers ago. First time out two major chips of paint off the bottom even though being very gentle. Emailed several times to inquire about repairs, no one returns emails or calls. Had to drive up to Huntsville to speak with them in person. Told me paint chips were normal and refused to repair. After two summers bottom is badly scrapped and paint coming off aluminum gunwale. Canoe rides beautifully but in no way can tolerate sitting on rocks or pebbles... way too fragile! Wouldn't buy again from this company. Customer service is terrible!
