Most reviews here come...

Most reviews here come after a few rides. I have owned a Kahuna for just over a year now. It is a very stable board, but the weight limit is low compared to similar rotomolded boards. With me, cooler, fishing gear and trolley, we were close to the max, which made me work harder at balance. With nothing but me, it was amazing, although the surface has waves and tends to flex under my weight. It tracks very well, easy to keep straight or to turn quickly. The hatch seemed to leak, so the dealer sealed it with silicone. I wouldn't trust it to stay dry until you have used it a few times. Fishing off it was easy, but my feet stayed in water due to the board sitting low under the weight. Any movement seemed to let water come over the sides. It does not come with a paddle. Lots of tie downs and equipment rails. Great board for beginners, but be sure to compare specs with other rotomolded boards before making a final purchase. Not the best board in my opinion, but a strong contender.

In the market and had an opportunity to try out a demo of this SUP from Lee at our great local shop, Tally Yakkers here in Tallahassee., Florida. We did just about 13 miles on the Kinchafonee just outside Albany, GA. It’s a shallow winding river and the conditions were great. I was really impressed with the stability and versatility of this SUP – even when moving around rocks and limbs and through fast moving water. I was able to move freely around the board and never felt like it was going to tip or flip. It had good tie-down space up front for my bag and a nice padded and contoured deck. I could definitely see this being stable enough to fish off of as well. It’s not light per-se, but was very manageable moving and getting on and off the car. Best part of the paddle was drafting less than an inch and going through areas that everyone else was having issues with. Great SUP!

The best of both worlds...

The best of both worlds with its kayak tracking ability, and its completely flat deck. It's stable and light with rotomolded strength. This thing is an unbelievable fly casting platform!!

I have used many different kayaks and paddleboards. This is by far my favorite. They are very stable, easy to fish from and enjoyable to ride. Would highly recommend it.
