Great play boat with good speed for it's size. It handles large paddlers well and is a blast in the surf. Although it is not a touring boat it can outperform a canoe and cover longs distances if need be. It's durability and size (actually only 10.5 as opposed to 11.5) make it a good boat to run low level white water.
It's a fun boat, and last I checked you could get them direct from factory for about $220 do to over production. If you have to pay retail $500-$600 you open up a lot of other options, but for what we payed it is a steal.

Tough, bulletproof, didn't skimp on plastic making it. makes it a little heavy but your kids won't be able to kill it. High polynesian style bow fading back to hard chine sides with a rounded center hull, tracks well, slaps a little, excellent initial and secondary stability despite what may initially look like a high seat, which is really dry. Foot well may not be for the long legged, I have a 30' inseam and still have 4" to go though. Recessed eyes which I really like making getting on and off snagless and body friendly. Tank recess in the stern could certainly be deeper , has no drainage holes but a channel on the end. If it had drainage holes a hatch could be installed to utilize the space under the tank recess. A hatch could certainly be installed under the leg area with no problems. The bow has a 6" hatch(cat bag inside) but room for a 10"with a nice size storage area. The drainage holes in the seat are molded but weren't drilled through,an oversight perhaps? Heavy duty carrying eyes, Beefy. Could use a paddle hanger and a drink cup. You and the kids can both use it. Very reasonably priced, shipping was $75 to fl keys from Tenn, called co from phone # from their website and actually spoke to a person. Wouldn't go touring in it as it's a little slow but a great day boat, and it'll hold up.
