Went for a paddle...tipped...paddle SUNK...it’s about 15 feet down in muddy murky water, where it shall remain! Very disappointed!!! WHY WOULD ANYONE SELL A PADDLE THAT DOESN'T FLOAT!?

As a beginner, you want a cheaper board to see if you really enjoy paddle boarding, with stability, especially on the ocean. This is a great board for that purpose. At $350, I thought it was a bargain for a beginner with absolutely no experience. Because of its size and buoyancy, it is very stable, and easy to get up on and stay dry. As it is made of plastic, the board is heavy at 53 pounds, which makes it an exercise just to get it in and out of the water. Also, it is hard to do anything but touring, since the weight seems to make it tough to go fast enough to surf on it. After 6 months on this board, I am ready to look for a more 'surfable' board, but happy to have started on this one. Pros Stability, price Cons Weight Usage Touring on the ocean, in smooth conditions.

I bought this at Home Depot for $389.00 and have not been disappointed with it. Make no mistake, this is a board for beginners and at this price point is a great deal. The deck is wide so you can spread your legs apart farther when you are starting out for added stability. The only thing I needed to buy was a leash. Pros The board is stable and great for SUP yoga. The starting price is low enough that it won't break the bank and is a good place to start to see if you enjoy the sport. I am addicted to this board now and use it all the time either paddling along the creek or lake, or doing yoga in the pool. Cons Since the board is made out of plastic, it is very heavy. I can get it up on my Honda Pilot when taking it for a cruise but I have the strength to heft it. My wife and daughters, however, find it difficult to lift. The board is rated for someone who is 250lbs so it holds me no problem at 190lbs. The problem is that the board sinks a bit into the water making it more of an effort to paddle. Also, because the fin is so small, it requires more effort to keep the board straight. Usage I use it for conditioning when I am unable to run because of injury. I also use it for yoga, cruising along the lake or creek.

For the price point this is the best board among many that I have tried. I am over 60 and weigh 230 pounds and board supported me extremely well verifying the 250 pound weight capacity. perfect board for water on small to medium size lakes and relatively easy to use. Pros price, weight capacity. ease of use, sturdy around rocks and docks due to strong plastic and manageable weight Cons Usage touring and exercising on a smaller lake in quebec

This is a great paddle board for beginners to intermediate paddlers. Myself, being of the over 60 age, as well as my Grandchildren, ages 8 through 12 can handle this board easily on a smooth lake or pond. It is great for exercising one's "core" and is just plain fun to do!!! Pros Light weight enough for me to handle alone. Cons Wish it came with a rudder for windy days, though I know I can purchase one to add on. Usage Just for relaxing fun at the camp.
