We have owned two - 18'6" Eskimo CRX 3G kayaks for 8 years now and could not be happier. We use them singly and also have the 32 sf sail when we lash them together catamaran style. Sailing is a blast. Even points into the wind fairly well.Week long trips are not a problem with the high volume storage capacity.
We started out with Wilderness plastic boats but traded them in for Easy Riders. What a difference - fast and impeccable workmanship and design.

Built to take whatever you can dish out. Good looking, Strong, Fast and Stable. The Eskimo really shines when loaded with gear: two large secure hatches give easy access to huge safe watertight bulkhead compartments. Rangers at Glacier National Park in Alaska rely on this proven, field-tested kayak for their patrol work.
