Used one of these for several days on a smaller inland lake in Michigans Upper Peninsula. The cabin is in a quiet bay, so most of the paddling was in calm water. However, a 5 minute paddle around a point exposed you to some moderate surf as it was windy all weekend. Pros Very lightweight and seems well built. The board has a nice blend of tracking and maneuverability. Was lucky enough to have some 2 foot waves available to us when we wanted, so I got to use it in both types conditions and it transitioned nicely. Cons Didn't really notice any, to be honest. I now own the 11' version, so apparently I liked it! : ) Usage Flat water and small surf

I tried this board as a rental in Qualicom Beach BC. The water was relatively calm. Pros Seemed a little tippy at first as I was used to beginner boards, but I got used to that quickly and found it very responsive, quick and fun. Relatively light and easy to carry. Cons None I can think of, though my boyfriend tried it and at 6'3" he was ankle deep under water so it won't be a board we can share. Usage exercise
