8'6" Stubby Air iSUP Description

When it comes to versatility and ease of use, nothing does it better than the Stubby Air. By leveraging one of the more popular hard board shapes and combining it with the conveniences of an inflatable, getting on the water has never been so easy. The Stubby Air is designed for all around use, whether it be recreational paddling, surfing small waves, an ohana day at the beach or all of the above while on vacation. The Blue Planet iSUPs collapse down into a “check-in” size bag and can be taken with you when traveling, don’t require car racks for transport, and are very easy to store at home. At 34″ wide, the board is very stable and is an excellent introductory board for new paddlers. The double action pump offers expedited inflation and makes getting your board water-ready much faster.

Very stable board, fun to surf in small waves although not the best surfing board for an inflatable. Fun in the river, fun for kids although being a smallest inflatable board in the BP lineup, it becomes unstable pretty quickly with multiple people on board. The molded on fins can get bent when rolling the board up, it would be better if the side fins were either more rigid or could be taken out. Pros Very stable board, fun to surf in small waves although there is little rocker and you really have to get far back on the board. Cons When you roll it up, the permanent plastic bendable fins get bent. When they are in that position for a long time they adapt to being bent, and then the board becomes very hard to control if you surf with bent fins. I had to hold the fins under a hair dryer for about 15 minutes to get them straight again. Usage River, Surfing

It's a good board, very stable, not built for speed, you can catch wave from about 3ft and downwards if any bigger you cannot control the board and it starts to flex under feet Pros It's very sable Cons Not very fast Usage Just to chill with it
