Angler Pro Paddle Description

The four-time Angler Paddle of the Year just got an upgrade. The new Angler Pro boasts all new patterns, designed by Bending Branches' ProStaff team. It's lighter than the previous generation of Angler Pro's, with larger blades for a more powerful stroke. The Angler Pro has a smooth forward stroke for effortless paddling.

The Angler Pro comes with either a snug-fitting 3 hole snap-button ferrule (adjustable for feathering angles 0° and 60°, L or R) or a more versatile telescoping ferrule with infinite feathering angles. If you have multiple boats (or if you can’t keep your Angler Pro out of other paddlers’ hands), the telescoping ferrule makes changing paddle length a breeze.

The Angler Pro with a snap-button ferrule comes in sizes ranging from 220cm to
280cm, in 10cm increments

With the Plus ferrule, the Angler Pro is available in adjustable lengths of 230-245cm and 240-255cm.

The Bending Branches Angler Pro is proudly made in Osceola, Wisconsin.

The Angler Pro has been named the Angler Paddle of the Year 6 times (2013-2018)

This paddle has been a game changer! I didn’t know how much of a difference it would make moving to a lighter paddle. Keeps my fatigue down, and allows me to stay fishing all day long! Added bonus, the color options are amazing!

The Ultimate in Angler Paddles...

Submitted by: JKincy on 3/2/2017

As as serious tournament angler, I have four kayak paddles and the one I use the most when kayak fishing is the Angler Pro, it is the ultimate paddle for anglers. Other than the kayak itself and life jacket, your paddle is the next most important equipment for a serious angler.

Having a very large and heavy fishing kayak, I need all 104 square inches of paddle surface area to efficiently move my boat at a good speed with little effort. The T-700 Carbon shaft also helps shoulder and joint fatigue with it's light weight and subtle flex while paddling. The paddle itself is nearly indestructible and I've got no worries about it making it through any situation.

If you fish big lakes or large rivers with a lot of big boats, I really like the high visibility of the Sea Green color for safety. If stealth or looking tough is your thing, check out the Camo or RealTree Max 5 color schemes.

I got the Angler Pro paddle when I bought my kayak and love it. This paddle helps me move through the water smoothly. Very easy to get a good stroke and good for controlling the kayak.

I was going to buy a solo canoe paddle from Bending Branches for my Old Town Pack canoe. Then I saw the Angler Pro in 260cc on sale at E.M. sports. It's the same length as their solo canoe paddle with a slot for saving your favorite bass lure; perfect.

I received this Bending Branches Angler Pro paddle last summer as a ransom gift so my son could get his high zoot carbon graphite paddle back...

I use it with a Kruger boat solo canoe so it does receive a fair amount of abuse from rocks, logs and sandbars. Although a rather expensive pushstick/prybar, It has performed admirably. The length, light weight, L or R preset locking blade angles and blade design make both high and low angle paddling a delight with touring or fishing kayaks as well as a low slug solo canoe. Although a skeptic and proud user of inexpensive, whatever is available paddles for years, I simply love the light weight and design of quality equipment. Do yourself a favor and start with quality!

This paddle is simple, light weight, straight forward quality you will enjoy for years!!!
