The Shred Carbon is our most popular whitewater paddle. Its stiff, lightweight carbon-reinforced abX blades and strong, ovalized aerospace-grade T-700 carbon shaft provide both power and agility. That makes the Shred Carbon both rugged and responsive - a great choice for the hardcore whitewater enthusiast. Available as a 1-Piece paddle ($194.95) or a 4-Piece paddle ($214.95).

I own six Aqaba and paddles and five of them get the five star review , however this one I would only give 3 1/2 stars or 4 . There are some very positive attributes that I like about this paddle. The blade size and shape are really great for both white water kayaking and canoeing. It’s a great design and idea to combine both the type of paddle needs into one system. Here’s my issue with this paddle. It’s advertised as a “ carbon “ shaft . I think it’s carbon coated aluminum and therefore actually a heavy paddle. Maybe I’ve gotten so spoiled with my other AquaBound paddles that’s why I am so picky about this one .
