Well designed for light...
Well designed for light chop and flat water. Stable and easy to paddle. Construction is a little soft. It's a good first flatwater board for light to variable conditions.
The board is stable and handles itself in light chop well. Heavy chop tends to overwhelm it. It has a pretty good directional stability and glide.
The construction is a little soft. This board would be better suited for calmer lakes and bays than the heavy chop I sometimes experience on the Hudson. The fin is also a little small and the board would be improved with an upgrade.
I tour this board almost exclusively and use it for workouts.
