I had been using an old AuqaBound paddle that came with my first boat. It worked fine. Who needs one of those fancy carbon fiber paddles? Or so I thought. My new boat came with the Accent Lanai paddle. What a difference! I'm thankful that I did not have to pay full retail. That was a blessing. What a difference it makes when you are out of a couple of hours. Not having the extra weight is very helpful.
The paddle is easy to adjust / offset in either direction. It has a many degrees of offset, so you can find just the right setting for you. My old paddle was one and done.
And the thing floats! Nice.

The only minor gripe I have is that blades aren't very stiff, but I suppose that's to expected. It's important to note they aren't full-carbon, but carbon-reinforced nylon (meaning mostly nylon). Ultimately, this is only a minor gripe.
Overall, the Lenai is comparable to $200+ paddles by other makers composed of the same materials.

I would recommend this paddle to anyone that wants to spend longer on the water. The only issue that I have encountered with this paddle is that the first couple of times I tried to take it apart it was very hard for me to do, but after the third or fourth time it does come apart much easier.
