This is an awesome paddle board...Steers great and tracks well...It takes some getting used to so not recommended for the beginner!! Would recommend for a little more seasoned paddle board enthusiast. Pros Steering and handling is top notch! Cons Not for the beginner..recommended for the more seasoned vet!! Usage Touring

Prior to getting this board I owned a Naish one 12'6 board with the exact same dimensions. This board seems to have more nose rocker and slightly limited waterline for slat water paddling as a result, which I believe makes it slightly better for downwind, and slower 0.1-0.2 mph on flat water. I like that you can add a custom fin in the finbox, however the fin box is small and there are really not many fins that will fit. I use this board on a river that is sometimes very shallow with a pro teck flexible fin, and when I take it to the lake I use an FCS carbon weed fin. The board is very stable and comfortable, seems more stable than the naish one somehow even though the dimensions are the same. Just make sure you don't try to put a brass screw into the fin box. Pros More attractive and enjoyable than the naish one and more comfortable to paddle. Seems to go downwind and catch bumps better than the naish one. Ability to customize the fin is a big plus, added carry straps are useful. Cons slower than the naish one. The fin box is too small to allow customization with most fins.
