A great board for someone new to paddle boarding who will be using it primarily on flat water. Is stable and handles small chop easily. Is fairly maneuverable and easy to turn. Comfortable pad is easy on feet for hour long trips around the lake. Pros Good graphics on board. Shape of board looks fast and not boxy. Cons Doesn't seem to handle side chop well. Usage Exercise and some touring.

The ISLE 11' FW is a great beginner board. I take it out on the Puget Sound where there can be very choppy days and some glassy ones too, and it handles performs well in both conditions. The width is great and adds stability for any size rider. It glides very well compared to other all-purpose (egg shaped) boards. It handles chop pretty well, but side chop can rock you a little bit. If you're looking for an all-purpose board to take out on lakes or choppy bodies of water, this is a great board. I would recommend it. Although, if you for see yourself getting into racing or paddling for fitness, another board with a displacement hull may be a better choice (I quickly progressed past this board and am now looking for something better for recreational racing). Pros Shape Design Stability Easy turning Cons The front of the board often dunks under water if you're paddling fast into smaller (ferry) rolling waves. Doesn't handle side chop all that well Not great for racing (too short, doesn't displace water) Usage Wouldn't recommend for surfing. Tried racing this in a 1.5 mile race and I was left in the dust. The 12ft model may do better for recreational racing but I wouldn't recommend it.

I had the opportunity to demo the "Isle Glider Flat Water board". I found the board easy to load from the shoreline. The board had a good center of gravity. I did not feel like I was going to fall off. Pros 1) The board glided easy. 2) easy to load 3) comfortable to paddle Cons Nothing I liked the board and I would buy one. Usage exercise and touring
