Trip Overview

From the boat launch we paddled along the western shore exploring several coves all the while taking in the warm sunshine and excellent fall colors as the lake is surrounded by forested hillsides. As you paddle around this magnificent lake please be aware of the numerous submerged tree stumps that populate the lake.

I only saw 3 houses on the western side of the lake and some large new structure being built on the north side of the lake, but other than that there is nothing around this lake.

There is a nice little island on the western side which is a great place to pull out and stop for lunch. You can probably paddle around this lake in about 2-3 hours, but I recommend taking your time and enjoying the scenery.

Large parking lot and Chemical toilet at the boat launch.
