Trip Overview

Visited Watauga Lake in Butler TN. Borders the Cherokee National Forest. 3rd Cleaniest Lake in the United States. Group of 10 stayed at a rental cabin located at the lake. Just hopped in the canoes and paddled to the mountains on the other side of the lake and we on the Watauga River paddling through the Cherokeee National Forest!! Best trip ever!! Most scenic I have ever seen in TN or on the east coast. Saw lots of wildlife, otters, even saw a badger! Fished for Walleye and we caught about 15 in a 3 day period.
