Vermillion and Little Vermillion River in Illinois

Trip Overview

Hi, First, I ran the Little Vermillion River. It has two nice drops on it and a nice little dam to play in. Watch for hazards, very dangerous river with hazards. Next, the Vermillion River, a nice Inklein to play and wildcat rapids. Wildcat is a two dropper rapid that can be played in on the second, or if you are gung h2o you can surf the 1st drop. Next is the most dangerous rapid on the Vermillions, the dam. Say far right and stay there, as one death from rapid, watch for rebar. Last is narrows, kind of fun, and ok. I hope you get to see and run these two great rivers.
