This was a great paddle! The put in and take out points were great( concrete with steps). The dam was making power so the flow was nice as well. You can check this on the Duke Power website. There was nothing over a class II. There was only one spillway to go around. We took a 15min lunch break and 2 small breaks and it took us exaxtly 5 hours to make the trip. I would recommend the paddle to anyone.
Safety Notes
The portage is very close to the spillway so any inexperienced paddlers need to keep to the left bank early on

If Duke Power is making power the current is considerably stronger
