Aborted trip. River blocked in both directions. Huge fallen trees block river to right and left of our put in at canoe launch pad in both directions. 1/4 mile paddle with a portage around small trees and shallows leads to completely blocked river in either north or southbound on river. Portage not possible here. 10 foot mud embankments make portage impossible without climbing gear and huge efforts. Skip this one. And worse parking one car is 28 dollars (family of four, 7 dollars per person).
