Trip Overview

We took a mid-morning trip to Parrish Park to paddle around. Access to the Indian River was easy at Parrish Park. There are boat docks available to launch or you could just pull over to the side of the road. We launched from the north side of the causeway, paddled around the north island, then headed south under the A. Max Brewer Memorial Pkwy bridge. The wind was against us paddling south and the waves were a little rough. We stopped off at the south island for a small break. The island was easily accessible. We met an island hopper who had setup camp on the island. I imagine the island would be a great place to watch a SpaceX launch. After resting on the island we headed back to the car. I estimate it was a 2 1/4 mile trip.
