Tioga-Hammond Lakes in Pennsylvania

Trip Overview

For being a "newby" to kayaking, I thought this would be a nice excursion....the lake is beautiful! I used the Ives Run Rec. Area are to put in at, paddled the whole lake, then paddled into Crooked Creek. Saw an abundant of wildlife.....Fishing wasn't bad either!

Ives Run Rec. Area has a beautiful camping area, local town of Wellsboro (beautiful town!) has motels/hotels to stay at...

Directions:

Rt. 15 North (Coming from central PA) to PA 287 South. (you can see the lake from 15!)
