Trip Overview

I canoe Smithville Lake a least twice a week. There are lots of coves and shoreline to canoe. It's always windy but I can find a calm spot to canoe.

There are 10 or more spots you can put your canoe in for free you don't have to pay the $5 at the marina where all the boats are.

Bird watching there is great from eagles to waterfowl. Fishing is good to.

Have fun and be safe.
