Trip Overview

Put in right off of County Rd 6 about 2 miles East of St Rt 53 in Seneca County. River was slightly above normal level, but not fast.

Put in around 10am and this was my very first trip in my brand new Kayak. Purchased my kayak after a vacation trip where I tried kayaking for the first time and fell in love with it right away.

I calculated the trip to be about 7 miles to a friends house who lives 1/4 mile north of the US 224 bridge in Tiffin.

Very scenic trip, where I saw a few bald eagles and nests, very quiet trip and with the river slightly above normal did not need to portage.

Accommodations:

none

Fees:

no

Directions:

St Rt 53 South from Tiffin. East on County rd 6 about 2 miles to a pull off just south of the Bridge. Used to be a dam that was removed
