Lumber River Canoe Club paddle this area with experienced to beginner paddlers, a group of 9 people, there was some down fall, but nothing that you really could not go around or under, the water levels I will post below since there is not real gauge in the area, we later came back on Wednesday and cleared out the down fall with chain saws. There are several Class I rapids, about 7 at the flow listed below, and 1 class II, the Banks are high on one right and low on the other, and this switches from one side of the bank to another, we took out at Cape Fear Rover Park Erwin.
