Pearly Pond (Franklin Pierce College) in New Hampshire

Trip Overview

This "pond" by name is a great size for the novice to more advance out for a day with the family. There is a small intimate public beach and you are not far from the pastural campus of Franklin Pierce College, whose crew team and sail team will share the water with you even in the summer. Not only the crew team, but a large flock of curious and very approachable Canadian geese will also paddle and waddle around the pond and nearby lands. I first learned how to kayak on this pond and truly urge all to journey to the southwest corner of NH to enjoy the day.
