Pack River in Idaho

Trip Overview

My recent trip down the mid and lower sections of the Pack River was very enjoyable. The twisting flat water brings new views on every turn with timber, meadow and homesteads in the offering. Close observation by a nesting pair of Bald Eagles was truly an awe inspiring memory took from this quick comfortable foray.

I recommend the Pack River be added to the paddling plans of anyone venturing to Northern Idaho
