Trip Overview

I have been Yaking the waters since I was a teen and have had the opportunity to Yak many Rivers. The Muskegon River is by far the best that I have yaked for an easy day of paddling and Mother Nature's bounty.

Eagle, Heron, deer, fox, and many other creature's hunt the banks as you breeze by them near yet far enough for them to see you as none threatening. This is the most peaceful part of the whole river.

I put-in at Sheridan on the North branch head through the 3rd finger and enjoy a few small rapids as I ease through the cattails and spill onto the North branch and destination.....Giles Road lovely way to spend the day!

Accommodations:

Many Local hotels and camping near by

Fees:

None at all!

Directions:

I Put in at Sheridan Rd. on the North Branch
