Trip Overview
Join us Thursday for an awesome adventure on the waterway that started it all! We will launch behind the greenhouse/East Campus Garage and paddle with the current towards Lawrence, MA. Small, manageable rapids may spice up our journey- if you are into that. Otherwise, rest assured that our challenge by choice program will gladly teach you about how to best portage a kayak! Portaging is hiking your vessel around waterway obstacles or to another body of water. We will stop for lunch whenever we are feelin’ hungry and we find an optimal stop on river right to stop. Then, after a lovely break, we will finish up paddling and takeout at the Methuen Riverside Boat Ramp.
