Trip Overview

Little Sturgeon Bay is located in the southern portion of the Door County Peninsula. These waters have always been known by local fisherman and is now becoming a very popular tourist stop. It is still underpopulated so those visiting Door County will truely enjoy the NATURE of Door County and and NOT just the wonderful "Shops and Restaurants".

Little Sturgeon is a pocket off of the Green Bay waters and was known in the past for it's shipbuilding and limekilns. There are several boat wrecks that are visible along with the remains of old lime kilns.

In the spring of the year you can observe large flocks of white geese and swans that stop there on their way north. Truely fasinating sight.

I hope you take the time to visit this area - I guarentee you won't be disapointed.
