Trip Overview
Collins gauge was 5.4' and 400 cfs/ Hattiesburg guage 3.4' and 1450 cfs. This was an excellent level and flow for this stretch of river.
This is a 7 mile float that had good flow most all of the way. It took us 6 hours with a few swim breaks and an 8 mph head almost the entire trip.
Conditions
Both ramps are concrete and pretty steep with the 590 ramp being the steepest.
