Trip Overview

Loved paddling at Lakeside County Park so much that we went back in early May; camped at Clear Lake State Park at one of their premium lakeside sites; set up camp and put boats in right in front of campsite. Easy one hour paddle over to Lakeside County Park to the west (thought it would be much further!) with lots of bird watching on the way (nesting great blue herons and osprey; many cormorants and pelicans; mallards with goslings). Perfect campsite and put-in. Highly recommend.
