Trip Overview

This is a great lake to paddle. There are no motors, and is not crowded during the weekdays. Access is easy from any parking area.

The best access is from the boat launch area at Park road and Meyers Road. There is plenty of parking. The park is mostly a sunrise to sunset park.

Accommodations:

The are nature trails, bike and hiking paths. There are bathrooms on site, and picnic areas. At the north side of the lake there is an information center. There is a storage area for kayaks and canoes.

Fees:

There are no fees for use of the lake.

Directions:

From Quakertown take 313 to New Galena Road to the park entrance.
