Trip Overview
Paddled a few hours around the shoreline, casting to whatever was not biting. A renowned bass lake, the 137-acre lake is located in a state park, with on-site camping and other amenities.
The boat launch on the western shore has a restroom and a concrete ramp with no real designated parking except for handicapped.
The lake has an outlet that runs over a dam to the south and the shoreline is dotted with lily pads. A swimming beach is on the east side.
Accommodations:
State park includes restrooms, ranger stations, swimming area and boat launches. The state park also rents boats.
