Trip Overview

Launched right off the beach near the pier at Grand Isle State park. Paddled through the surf and out into the Gulf. Once offshore, we had about 2-3ft rolling swells which made it relaxing and fun.

Went around the east point of Grand Isle in between Grand Terra Islands and into Bayou Fifi. Lots of Dolphins and Pelicans once we got near the east point. Nice beaches all over the coast!

We had beached for lunch on the east half before continuing into the bayou.

Kayaks... 2 Sevylor Pointer K1s and 1 Pelican Pursuit 100. Super fun trip!
