Trip Overview

Traveled to Falls Lake(Reservoir) for a day trip and found the area lovely. The water was smooth, except when in main channel and the wind was blowing it was a little choppy. The eastern shore that is part of the Uwharrie National Forest was great with it's rock formations and sharp drop offs.

It was a very enjoyable trip and except for a fisherman, had the lake to ourselves to enjoy. There were 2 eagles that was circling around up next to Narrows Dam at the north end.

Great lake to kayak on.
