Trip Overview

My wife and I took the kids on a very nice kayaking trip to Presleys Outing located in Moss Point, Mississippi. Not only do they offer a nice beach area for the kids to play on, but it is also a very good place to kayak on the Escatawpa River. You don't have to take your own kayak, although if you have your own, you can bring it. They offer rentals there. They have hourly and daily rates. Overnight trips can also be booked.

On this trip we spent all day on the river, occasionally stopping on sand bars for breaks. The kids had a great time. Sometimes the paddling was hard if you caught the tide moving the wrong way. A little harder to paddle, but not impossible.

When we got back to Presley's Outing, we spent the rest of the weekend camping at their park in our RV. The kids are still talking about it. Best of all, it was very easy on my wallet.

I would recommend this trip to anyone. We are planning another trip sometime in late September or early October for the weather is great then. Not too hot.
