Beautiful Paddle. You put in at the Desoto Falls State Park Picnic Area at the boat ramp at the top of the falls. You would think the falls would create a heavy pull but it was very easy to paddle upstream. You go about 1 hour upriver (not very difficult) to a man made dam. We were thinking about porting around but there were no trespassing signs at a camp so this is your turn around spot. Total round trip was 4.7 miles and about 2 hours.
