Trip Overview

It was a nice sunny day, 6 of us launched into the D&R canal at the Weston Canal Rd crossing in Manville. We paddled up to Blackwells Mills, about 4.2 miles, Stopped for lunch, then carried the boats over to the Millstone river. The Millstone was higher than normal. About 5 feet at the Blackwells Mills gauge. the water was moving a bit, but there were no obstacles in the river. We paddled back to weston Canal Rd and took out at the public launch area, which is river left before the Weston Canal Rd bridge. Total trip took about 3 hours or so.

Accommodations:

Parking lot, no bathrooms. No specific launch ramp, just launch in the easiest spot you can find. We launched canal right, below bridge.
