Trip Overview

Started off upstream around 11 o'clock. The creek was deep with a brisk current. My 14 foot kayak wasn't ideal for all the hairpin turns along this stretch. Many downed trees needed to be ducked under or climbed around. Forgot bug repellant and mosquitoes made me pay.

Saw many birds, 1 snake and 1 4ft. Alligator. After about 3 twisty miles I reached a road (321) and turned around for the trip back. I got back after about 5 hours total very muddy with an impressive spider collection in the kayak. Nice trip.
