Trip Overview

West Branch of Brandywine

Well it was nice day with some partly cloudy and temperature was cooler than what news report had said. We put in at the town of Embereeville, off Straburg Road from Rt 322.

The water was a little low in the beginning as we paddled on it got better (we could use some rain). Good scenic place for paddling... this water way connected to the Brandywine Creek into Delaware.

It best to go when have good 1-2 days of rain..otherwise might run into shallow spots..

Fees:

no fee... put in next to pump station
