Description
Concrete stepped launch point. Paddle down stream to Dights Falls approx 3km return, or head up river to Bellbird Park launch point (approx 6km return, has toilets), or keep going to Fairfield Boathouse (approx 10.5km return, has toilets ) where you can purchase food and drink at Boathouse restaurant. You can keep going upstream past Fairfield Boat house for about another 4-5km before you may need to portage your yak. River moves very slow when water level is not high, so easy to paddle up stream for all experience levels. Launch point is also close to Studley Park Boathouse where you can also purchase food and drink before or after the trip.
