Go up the river a bit to launch and you'll have a beautiful shallow crystal clear river for a peaceful paddle. It's only short, but we loved it. Deep enough to paddle but shallow enough in some places to stand and have a drink or snacks while watching fish swim past.
Be aware of the bridge to the left, there was barbed wire going across, so stay clear of that, go up river a bit to launch safely.
Shell petrol station has toilets and drinks/food.
