Description
Open Memorial Day weekend through late September or early October, depending on the year. Lake size: 5 miles long, 1 mile wide, 387 feet deep, 11 mile circumference The trail to hike around the lake is actually 17 1/2 miles. It ranges from freezing over with 2 1/2 to 3 ft of ice to a high of around 67 degrees Fahrenheit in late July & early August. Watch for wildlife. (Bears, moose, wolves, deer, elk, etc.)
