Description

Access from the west side off Highway 150 turning onto Old Police Park Road. Drop your boat next to the new Kickapoo Rail to Trail. Park for free just a short jog at the Meier baseball field off Old Police Park Road. You can paddle a rarely paddled route through St. Joseph. We saw several herons, owls, geese, deer and even a beaver! You can get out at the Mt. hope cemetery by Sydney or Hidden Acres in Homer Lake park (owned by the Champaign County Forest preserve) or even go all the way through the park and get out at Old Homer Lake Road!
